STATUS – A resident species that is widely distributed and locally common throughout Derbyshire. Recorded from all areas of the county. 

ID POINTERS – A conspicuous white corner spot and other cream markings along outer edge of forewing are key features. Also has a strong black elongated spot and several  darkish spots along leading edge of an otherwise warm, plain brown forewing
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing May – June & August..
