STATUS – A resident species that is generally common and widespread throughout Derbyshire, especially in the southern Trent Valley area.
 
ID POINTERS – An unmistakable hawk-moth. Very attractively marked with bright pink and olive green. The abdomen is particularly striking.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing May – August
