STATUS – A resident species that is generally uncommon but widely distributed especially in the lowlands of Derbyshire. Almost absent from the Peak District and no records from the Peak Grit region.

ID POINTERS –  A grey cross-band that is almost straight along the inner edge, helps to identify it from other Kittens. The outer edge is wavy and there are irregular markings within the forewing. A line of black spots borders the trailing edge.

FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing June- September
