STATUSA resident species that is locally distributed and generally uncommon in Derbyshire. A woodland species that occurs in all areas of the county. Recorded most often from the southern Trent Valley area.

ID POINTERS – The moth has a broad forewing that is generally a greyish brown. It can have pinkish and greyish flushes to it. Markings similar to Triple-spotted Clay.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June – August.
