STATUS First recorded in Derbyshire during 1990. Now a well established species across the county and considered to be generally common.

ID POINTERS – A long and slender winged moth with pale grey or grey ground colour that features several black streaks running through the central area of the forewing. There is also a long black basal streak. The kidney mark is often highlighted with a pale brown. An unmistakable autumn flying moth.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing September – November.
