STATUS A resident that is uncommon and locally distributed in Derbyshire. First recorded in the county in 1972. Favours old oak woodlands in the lowland areas.

ID POINTERS – An unmistakable moth. Bright green with two yellowish white parallel diagonal lines running through the broad forewing. Leading edge and outer edge fringed with white.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June – August
