STATUS – A rare vagrant in the county. The last Derbyshire record, since 1976, appears to be in 2014 when one was seen at Pleasley Pit CP on 19th July.
 
ID POINTERS – Unmistakable. A powerful looking moth with V shaped wings showing pale cream panels running through the dark brown or olive brown forewings
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  Most likely period during August – October
