STATUSLast recorded 2022 – A resident species, found on the upland moors at very few locations. Its stronghold is on Beeley Moor. Flies by day and at dusk.
 
ID POINTERS – Similar to a small dark Common Carpet. Dark central cross band, chequered borders to wing fringes. Brownish markings to outer edge of forewing.Creamy white ground colour.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing between  May – July
