STATUS – A resident species, that is locally rare in Derbyshire. It is mainly found at scattered sites in the south of the county, appearing sporadically and preferring waste ground and weedy locations. Very few records reported.
 
ID POINTERS –  A broad and rounded forewing that is straw-coloured or light brown. Central cross-band wavy and always darker with a central projection. Has a small dark spot in the palest band.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing between  July – August
