STATUS – Uncommon and local in Derbyshire being known only from a few sites and very few records. The species was last recorded 2018, from Millers Dale.
 
 ID POINTERS – The large rusty patches near the tip of each grey forewing and with inner side distinctly edged in black are diagnostic. Also very fine scalloped cross-lines help with the ID process.
 
 FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing – June – July
