STATUS – Uncommon and very locally distributed in small populations. During period 2013 – 2018 only two records, one on 6th July 2013 from Darley Dale and one from Shirland on 7/6/2016.
 
ID POINTERS – A fairly unmistakable pug species that is attractively marked with black and white lines, appearing like a net over the pale grey upper-wing surfaces.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD – May – June
