White-pinion Spotted Geometridae – Larentiinae – Lamographa bimaculata – colour code

STATUS –  A resident species that is scarce and locally distributed in Derbyshire. First recorded in 1985
 
ID POINTERS – Appearing like a Common Wave except a pair of large dark brown spots on each forewing along the leading edge. A faint brown wavy cross-line running through each hind wing.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  May – July
