STATUS  A resident that appears to be widely distributed and locally common in North Derbyshire. 

ID POINTERS – Broad wings, slightly pointed and a fairly thick set in the body. Three dark cross-lines are diagnostic. Ground colour can be orange-brown as in this specimen or a milky greyish-brown.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June – July
