STATUS A species that is widely distributed and common in most areas of Derbyshire. Predominantly a lowland species, with greatest populations in the Trent and Derwent Valleys and the Coal Measures.

ID POINTERS – As with all the ‘Minors’ or Oligia species, they are very difficult to separate from one another. 

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June – August
