STATUSGenerally uncommon but widely distributed in Derbyshire. Mainly recorded from sites in the Trent Valley and the Coal Measures

ID POINTERS – A rather plain brownish or blackish coloured moth, that is similar in shape and size to White-line Dart. Lacks the “arrowheads” on outer wing edge. More northern individuals are blacker in colour. 

FLIGHT PERIOD – July – September
