A Little Bustard was discovered in flight over fields near Bridlington, East Yorkshire on 31st December 2014<\/span><\/strong>. The bird was relocated in a Kale field and remained in the field till dusk and triggered one of the biggest “Twitches” for sometime. Fortunately, the Little Bustard<\/span>, an immature,\u00a0<\/span>as still present on 1st January 2015 and was on view to a very large and appreciative crowd. It was sat down right in the middle of a large Kale field, near the small village of Fraisthorpe, not really showing well at all – a right “Little Bustard”!!, but a great Year Tick to kick start 2015.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere – We visited Bridlington Harbour, where a very obliging Red-throated Diver<\/span> was showing rather well and Grindley for a very distant Rough-legged Buzzard<\/span>. A calling Lapland Bunting<\/span> over the Kale field at the Little Bustard site was a nice bonus.<\/p>\n
