It has eluded me on two previous occasions but this morning in diabolical weather conditions, it performed really well for us. In heavy rain, grey cloud and extremely\u00a0windy weather, I managed a few decent images by using Richard&#8217;s\u00a0car as a hide. It took around 20 minutes or so for me to locate the bird, but once discovered, it was fairly faithful to an area that offered us, and the bird, some respite from the wind and rain.
