On Saturday 7th January 2017<\/strong><\/span>, I spent a day with Red Squirrels<\/strong> in the North Yorkshire Dales near Hawes, not quite what I had in mind to kick start 2017. Wildlife photographer Simon Philpotts<\/em>, from Wild Dales Photography<\/em>, organised the workshop and I was very impressed with the way the day was managed. Despite some dodgy weather, making the light conditions difficult to say the least, there were around 10 Red Squirrels on view throughout the session. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent photographing the squirrels, they really are fantastic little animals and Simon really does know his subject.
