\n\tThis North American Larus  is one of a number that turned up in the UK during the gales in <\/span>November 2005. This particular bird had been in the Porthmadog area since that time and was a <\/span>very confiding individual. <\/span>About 60 Laughing Gulls were recorded during this remarkable influx, giving many modern day <\/span>birders ideal opportunities to study this superb gull.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n
