\n\tA day of mixed weather, cold wind, April showers and warm sunshine, when the sun was out! Spring migrants are now beginning to arrive.<\/span><\/strong>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/div>\n
\n\tChiffchaff’s seem to be in good numbers this year, with plenty singing at both Willington & Attenborough. Several were very obliging. A few Reed Warblers , several Common Whitethroat and Sedge Warbler and small numbers of Blackcap. Cetti’s Warbler were present at both sites. Willow Warbler seems to be thin on the ground. <\/span>\n<\/div>\n

\n\tWe only had 2 singing birds.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n
\n\t \n<\/div>\n
\n\tPlenty of Common Tern, 3 Ruff, 1 Common Sandpiper and 1 Little Ringed Plover all at Attenborough. 3 Common Sandpiper at Willington. <\/span>\n<\/div>\n
\n\t \n<\/div>\n
\n\tI had five year ticks this morning so my year list creeps along to 182.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n
