STATUS – Common and well distributed across the county.

ID POINTERS – A Leaf-miner – Forewing white, elongate and orange towards the apex, with three costal and two dorsal streaks. All edged inwardly dark brown. There is a black dot in the apex and the cilia have a fine dark-brown basal line.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing in April-June and July-September

MINE – Can be found throughout the winter on Oak
