Pterophoridae – Pterophorinae – Pterophorus pentadactyla – White Plume Moth

STATUS Locally fairly common in the county on Convolvulus & Bindweed and generally found in gardens and on waste ground. 

ID POINTERS – Very distinctive and one of the larger plume moths. Wings are divided into several “fingers” each of which are intricately feathered or plumed.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing June & July
