Pterophoridae – Pterophorinae – Capperia britanniodactylus – Wood Sage Plume

STATUS Locally common in the county on Wood Sage. Generally only seen from dusk onwards.

ID POINTERS – Forewing cleft into lobes. Dark brownish colour with two angled white lines most obvious in the costal lobe. The hind-wing has an obvious dark blackish mark towards the tip.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing May – August
