STATUS Found across all areas of the county, sometimes commonly.

ID POINTERS – Forewing orange-brown or reddish-brown. The male shows a faint cross band whereas the female is very plain in appearance. Two small dark spots on the hind edge of the forewing help to identify this species.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – September
