STATUS Common in many places throughout the county.

ID POINTERS – An extremely variable species – Forewing white, sometimes yellowish-brown or grey. Sometimes 50% of the forewing is white or pale yellowish and the other 50% dark brown. Can show a heart shaped mark in central area of the forewing.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – September
