STATUS Status unsure – localised to areas where there are conifer woodlands. Expanding its range.

ID POINTERS – Brownish grey, can be darker brown, forewing with two broad pale cross-bands enclosing a suffusion of orangey brown. Scale tufts just behind the head.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – August
