Eriocranidae – Dyseriocrannia subpururella – Common Spring Jewel

STATUS  A common early spring species found in mature oak woodland.

ID POINTERS – Metallic golden coloured wings with a scattering of tiny purple and/or blue markings. A distinctive pale golden coloured dorsal mark before the tornus.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing April – May
