STATUS Common and widespread in most areas of the county

ID POINTERS – One of the largest of the family of Tortrix. Broad-winged. Forewing a greyish-brown marked darker with tiny cross-lines looking like a fine mesh. Two dark patches along each costa and in some cases a larger dark rectangular blotch on the inner edge (dorsum) of each forewing.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – August
