STATUS Uncertain but probably locally common on Hazel. A leaf miner.

ID POINTERS – All parornix species require particular care in identification. Adults are all similar to each other and are best determined by either gen-det or by rearing through the food plant. They all have a distinctive resting posture with the front part of the body raised on the forelegs, and a slightly up-curved rear.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May  and again in August
