Yponomeutidae – Yponomeutinae – Paraswammerdamia nebulella (lutarea) – Hawthorn Ermine

STATUS Unknown, few modern day records, but should be reasonably well distributed on Hawthorn (Crataegus) and Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia).

ID POINTERS – A white head with a grey thorax. Forewing grey with darker speckling with a row of fine blackish dots on the costa near the base of wing. The darker markings on the forewings can form blotches towards the apex and slight cross-band about half way.
