STATUS Suspect it is relatively common in the county where it occurs on rushes, wet grassland, moorland bogs and mires. Very few records

ID POINTERS – The forewing shows a distinctive pronounced lobe at the apex. An overall “Brassy” colour to the forewing with distinctive streaks and black spots in the apex area, but these can be missing. 

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during the day in May & August and comes to light
