STATUSDerbyshire status unknown. An adventive species that was first recorded in Britain in 1908. Most probably imported with Australian plants and has now spread northwards into Lancashire. Recorded in 2023.

ID POINTERS – A colourful little moth. The forewing is a pinkish brown, containing three indistinct brownish spots. The cilia along the forewing tip is a yellowish-orange, which contrasts with the rest of the forewing colour.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during the day in May & September
