STATUS Unknown – only two records since 1981

ID POINTERS – As with most of the Agonopterix group the moth rests flat with overlapping wings, hence the common name “Flat-body”. An arched costa and rounded apex. The forewings are pale greyish or brownish with an obvious dark blackish blob on each forewing and a pair of small spots above each blob. A creamy brown patch at the wing base extending a little way onto the costa.

FLIGHT PERIOD – Can be found on the wing all year round
