Gelechiidae – Anacampsinae – Anarsia spartiella  – (Small Sober)

STATUS Status unknown in the county. Distributed throughout England. This would appear to be the first record since 1963 – 4/8/2004.

ID POINTERS – Forewing variable grey to dar grey, sometimes paler along the costa and between the veins. Often short dark streaks or spots on the costa towards the apex. The largest and most distinctive at about one half.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing  mid-June – Mid-August
