STATUS Locally recorded, and widespread mainly in the south east of the county. Where there is Willow-herb

ID POINTERS – A distinctive little moth that rests low and flat in a horizontal position. The rather short forewing raised tent-like and colour is a dark grey, with an irregular off white cross-band just before one half, broadening towards the dorsum, and a brighter white cross-band at three-quarters sometimes broken in the middle.
