STATUS Locally fairly common on low ground in the county.

ID POINTERS – Forewing cleft into lobes at about three-quarters. The costal lobe long and pointed. Pale brown with whitish scales often arranged in very fine, obscure, cross-lines in the mid-wing. A dark brownish triangular mark in the costal cleft.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing in May – July and in September
