STATUS A widespread and common species in the county

ID POINTERS – Quite distinctive. Forewings are a yellowish-orange-brown to pale greyish-brown, with brown markings like a tiny net-like pattern. A darker base pattern with a dark reddish brown edge and a dark angled cross-band thriough the central area, also often edged with reddish-brown. Also a triangular dark brown mark towards the apex and along the costa.
