Tortricidae – Tortricinae – Acleris rhombana – Rhomboid Tortrix

STATUS Fairly common in many parts of Derbyshire.

ID POINTERS – Variable – Forewing slightly hook-tipped, with a shallow concave costa. Yellowish-brown to reddish-brown with darker brown lines and veins. A variable cross-band at about a half, sometimes like a Y shape.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during August – November
