STATUS Widespread and common in lowland areas of the county

ID POINTERS – Forewing a bright yellow  with a characteristic circular brown marking at the termen, enclosing a patch of the yellow ground colour and a brown spot about half way along the dorsum.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during May – September
