Tortricidae – Olethreutinae – Epinotia immundana – (Common Birch Bell)

STATUS Most probably a localised but fairly common species in the county

ID POINTERS – Distinctively marked with a diamond shaped patch on the dorsal area. Can be variable in colour, but distinctively marked blackish-brown along the inner margin.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during April – June and August – September.
