ID POINTERS – The typical form of this moth has a dark triangular patch on the forewing, somewhat like Epinotia bilunana, but a fairly common variation is f. costana, which has an all dark forewing with a pale edge on the costa

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during July – September.
