STATUSProbably a well established species in the county, wherever there are Thistles

ID POINTERS – Very similar to the Yponomeutidae family, but has no black spots on the thorax and a white fringe on the hind-wing. Forewing a glossy silvery white, with a scattering of variably sized black spots. Larger spots usually nearer to the wing base.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing during June – July
