STATUS – A resident species which is locally distributed and generally uncommon in Derbyshire. Confined primarily to the northern upland region of the county, where it can be common in some of the peak valleys such as Hope and Edale. It is absent from the southern areas.
 
ID POINTERS – Similar to Red-green Carpet but no reddish or reddish-brown colouration. An olive-green coloured moth with broader forewings and cross-lines and bands are usually more evenly and extensively whitish.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing between September to late November and from April – May after hibernation.
