STATUS A resident that is uncommon and locally distributed in Derbyshire. This species appears to be restricted to the eastern end of the Trent Valley, and with 14 records in 2023 from 3 sites, it could be expanding its range. This specimen was trapped at one of the species strongholds in the county, Breaston.

ID POINTERS -The outer edge of the forewing is much straighter than related species and there is a noticeable outward projection at the wing tip. Ground colour is a soft light greyish straw, sometimes tinged with a pinkish-brown. A brown streak runs along the central vein.
