STATUS First recorded in Derbyshire in 1993. A Nationally Scarce B species and very rare in our county. Very few documented records since 1993. Only three individuals reported in the period 2013-2018, all during June-July. It is regularly recorded in Notts. The latest record comes from an individual trapped at Darwin Forest, Matlock, on 28th June 2023. The species continues to maintain its rare status in the county.

ID POINTERS – A small green species, reminiscent of Green Oak Tortrix. The white leading edge to the forewing and the white hindwing help to distinguish this species.

FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing May – July
