STATUS – A resident and widely distributed but locally common particularly in south-east Derbyshire. Scarce in the north of the county

ID POINTERS – The moth gets its name from the “Arch-Like” markings visible at rest in the central area of the forewing. MGBI describes this moth as having a “Flint-Like” appearance.
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing – June -August.
