STATUS – A resident species that is very scarce and locally distributed in Derbyshire. The moth seems to survive in small relict populations in remnants of old woodlands scattered across the south, central and eastern areas of the county.
 
 ID POINTERS – An unmistakeable little moth. Sandy-Cream ground colour to the upper wings covered in bright orange-brown cross-lines and a small dark central spot in the forewing.
 
 FLIGHT PERIOD –  On the wing – June – July
