STATUS – A resident species, that is scarce but widely distributed across the south of the county. Never been regarded as a common moth in Derbyshire.
ID POINTERS – A large moth with distinctly deep reddish-brown and pointed forewing. Cross-bands edged with white and a whitish zig-zag line across outer edge.
FLIGHT PERIOD – On the wing between September – October
