STATUS –  A common species inhabiting the moorland areas throughout North Derbyshire, where it can be locally abundant.
 
ID POINTERS –  A fairly distinctive and attractive day flying moth. Can be rather variable in ground colour
 
FLIGHT PERIOD –  May – June, sometimes a second generation in August.
