STATUS – A late flying moth that is widely distributed and locally common. Main stronghold is in the eastern side of Derbyshire, and virtually absent from the uplands. Not been recorded from the Peak Grit.

ID POINTERS – The forewing is grey and tinged with lilac and brow. There are two yellowish-white “8” shaped symbols which are diagnostic. The outer shape can be more variable.
